Friday 12th May : Knighton Scouts are walking from Knighton to Presteigne in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society and KINDA. Come and wave them off!
Saturday 13th May : The Barebacks at The Horse & Jockey. 10.OOpm to 12.00am.
Tuesday 16th May : Coffee Morning at Tower House Gallery – 10.30am to 12.30pm with Knighton primary School Choir singing at the clock tower.
Tuesday 16th May : Dementia Friends Awareness session at Little Black Sheep Café – 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Booking essential.
Wednesday 17th May : Invest in Your Health – Free 6 week programme starts from 10.00am-12.30pm at Presteigne Surgery (and from 13th June, 10.00am to 12.30pm at Knighton Hospital.)

Saturday 20th May : Knighton Men’s’ Shed Open Day – 10.00am to 4.00pm at Teme Mill, Station Yard.

The Clock Tower Bells
Possibly the first team of handbell ringers in the UK to be members of of a Dementia Action Alliance, The Clock Tower Bells performed at the Burghill and Tillington Handbells Rally on Saturday 16th April. They joined teams from Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Brecknockshire and Montgomeryshire for a mass ringing of Handel’s Thine Be The Glory (the group on Facebook).
Folk Down The Track evening at the Castle Inn, Knucklas
‘Snapdragon’ will be playing and the collection will be for Kinda. Contact us for further information.
KINDA sponsored film show: ‘Paleface’
Classic Bob Hope and Jane Russell comedy western from 1948, Paleface is showing in the Flicks in the Sticks programme. Famous for winning an Oscar for the song ‘Buttons and Bows’. Come and join us, have a laugh, see a bit of the fun side of cinema history and help support KINDA.
Sunday 3rd April at Knighton Community Centre. Doors open 2.30pm and admission is £4 (children £2.)

KINDA Christmas Raffle
Kirtsy Williams AM will be making the draw for our Christmas Raffle on Saturday 19th December in Boots in Knighton, so we hope plenty of people have bought tickets. If you’ve won a prize we’ll be in touch! Kirsty will hopefully be stopping by the Tower House Gallery just beforehand to say hello to KINDA colleagues and friends, if you’re around (let Julia at the Gallery know if you can come.)
